PGIO is established as a social advocacy initiative that plays an intermediary role in the whole campaign against rape menace in mutual collaboration with the society and stakeholders. This is due to the sensitive and cumbersome nature of the rape and violence cases that entails quite a chain of various professionals, service providers and the institution in order to pursue and effectively conclude the cases. This means PGIO is exclusively committed to identifying and receiving rape and other violence cases, identifying relevant procedures and channels engaging the right people that ensure full case pursuit and determination in the appropriate way and within reasonable time interval. In case of discontent, the public and the survivors are mobilized for a demonstration to force the authority to intervene in some preferred ways.
